The Truth Energy
A spiritual truth conveyed during meditation
This morning I had a visit from my partner John’s palliative nurse. She is one of those people we sometimes describe as Earth Angels, here in human form to walk among us and share their gifts. I am forever grateful for the connection she fostered with John during his illness, her intuitiveness for readying us both (so John could die at home) and our friendship that has continued to evolve since his passing. It has been a few months between coffees so we had much to share. One of my poems sits under a photo of John (residing on my fridge). It resonated with her, so I thought to post it. We discussed how truth transcends thought and belief. Simply put, truth is an intuitive knowing which is felt. Trust in the laws of the Universe is a manifestation of truth. This is not a decision, it is a knowing sacred energy … the vibration of our being.
The Truth Energy
Truth is permanent ... and of you,
A knowing ... sacred energy,
Consciousness from within ...
What is temporary ... is not of you,
The need to know ... everything ...
Is of the ego ...
Wisdom requires ... not thought,
But an inner ... awareness,
Not to forget ... who you are.
