“This is my cross to bear”, John announced in the aftermath of being diagnosed with MND. And so began my lessons in grace. Lessons from observing John.
Beautifully written and explained so everyone is not only a reader, but an involved participant in your life. The difference is, rather than merely being an innocent voyeur, as it were, we are all a part of the whole of Consciousness as you lived it. This allows us to feel your sorrow as you learn of John's MND, and we can feel his determination to bear his cross --this is all heartbreaking, by the way, and it catapults me back to 1969 when I learned of my husband, Doug's, death in Vietnam. I asked myself which would be worse ---knowing the end is coming and facing it each day, or the total finality of learning it happened 13 days prior. Then I realized, there is no difference. None at all. The Universe doesn't make mistakes. Our lives are inexplicably set in motion by the Universe and we are guided along by the lessons we must learn and are taught in each of the paths we travel. I'm so sorry, Simone. I didn't mean to write such a long comment! I started out to say, "Beautifully written, beautifully expressed." Namaste.
WOW C.J, thank you. No ... there is no difference, and I agree the Universe doesn't make mistakes and yes, we have lessons to learn ... and as Rumi would suggest, 'it is only in the darkness that we see light'. Namaste C.J 🙏
Oh, and thank you for re-stacking the other posts C.J 💜. Thank you for the comment about the reader being part of the Consciousness in this post ... that hadn't occurred to me. My intention with the writing has been to be honest, share the pain in a way that shows the gifts that are embedded in those Universal lessons ... love is eternal ... truth. 🥰 . My other intention is to perhaps foster a greater compassion in those who project conceptual mainstream notions and judgements on those experiencing deep loss.... All of which come from societal fear of death 😣
Please be assured, you accomplished everything you set out to do. Those who are ready to receive your message will receive it. Those who aren’t at a place in Consciousness yet to understand will have to wait until they are ready.
That is our continued purpose here. We speak to those who’s hearts are open to hear and really listen, even if we say the same things again and again in different ways. More and more will have an “AHA” moment and the message will speak to them within their Conscious Awareness.
Robert and I talk about this all the time. He tends to get whispers from his guides that speak to the Aware who have been on their journey a long time.
I tend to be guided by Dinahh to write for the newly Aware —the Conscious ‘Newbies’.
Thanks C.J, I love how you are able to bring such clarity. I hope you can feel my laughter ... yes, readiness and willingness ... prerequisites 🤣. There's a lesson in itself for me ... thank you😊. The same things, in a way need to be said over and over ... as truth is permanent and unwavering ... and speaks to us at our point of need. How's that for the Universe; you speaking to one area of need and Robert the other ... makes for a great team.🥰
We sure are a great team with love and mutual respect --t's really nice. Working together was decided by the Universe and our guides. Robert has been Consciously Aware for 40 years. I didn't even know what that was until he and I were a couple 15 years ago. I had a real crash course and it was no wonder I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. But that's how our guides chose to do it.
Thank you so much for this lesson in grace, from John and you! There are so many layers and important gems in this. I have printed it out to return and refer to it.
Deeply moving, heartbreaking, and healing all at once. Thank you Simone 💗🙏
Wow, thank you for your kind thoughts Veronika 🙏💜. Your words hit how I feel as I am writing; heartbreaking and healing. Grateful there is an echo in the sharing of experiences.
I can deeply feel those feelings through your writing, Simone! It speaks straight to my heart too! Happy to be an echo in the profoundness of our shared human experience.

The wonderment of connections, invisible threads swirling around this platform.😊
I know!
These are the threads we need to pick up and hold,
the threads that enable us to weave a new tapestry,
illustrating the story we know is possible... despite everything
Yes, the possibilities shape what is probable.😊
